About Us

Digital Bard Video Productions was formed with a few crazy goals in mind:

  1. Be portable. We made a conscious decision to outfit ourselves with equipment that could be easily  transported and quickly set-up. This allows us to travel to taping locations efficiently and cost-effectively, to be less conspicuous in professional settings and sensitive situations, and to serve you where ever your needs are; not bound to our studio.
  2. Treat every story like our own. Your story, your business story, your Gramma’s life story – they are vitally important to you. We don’t cut corners, we don’t skip steps, we don’t push it off on an intern, we don’t rush the revisions. We apply our award winning techniques to bring your idea to a high gloss, allowing you to relax and enjoy the results.
  3. Be a straight shooter. We ask you to be candid about your needs and budget. In turn, we’ll give you the benefit of our experience, a competitive price and a great product. We offer you a free consultation before you contract for services so we can review your project’s goals and clearly evaluate how we can best serve you. You never have to wonder what you are paying for or how we arrive at our recommendations for your project.

Our ability to craft long and short format programs is demonstrated by DBV’s recently completed video projects, which include:

  • Telly award-winning web-based promotional videos, direct marketing pieces and non-profit projects,
  • numerous live performance videos for dance studios and theater groups,
  • a 15-hour series of instructional DVD’s for professional speakers,
  • a 23-hour series of instructional video DVD’s for real estate entrepreneurs,
  • two “how-to” videos for a magician,
  • training videos for a national medical technologies group,
  • commercials for a design and build firm, a hospital, a church and a zoo,
  • a mini-documentary for the historic Weinberg Center for the Arts, and
  • demo videos for internationally known professional speakers and authors.

At Digital Bard Video Productions, we’ve developed an attitude of learning. We learn about our peers so we can stay connected and competitive. We monitor changes in video technology so we can anticipate the need for new equipment and new procedures. We examine trends in marketing, training and content distribution so we can make cost-effective recommendations to our clients. It’s not always easy. Who said easy was the way to go?

Additionally, our staff regularly continue their professional educations through attendance of film and video conferences, completion of advanced classes in editing, effects and media distribution, and through self- study courses.
